that all facilities such as the via ferratas, climbing gardens, the Flying Fox and the Zergerlland were built by the tenant family for our hut guests without any financial or other support whatsoever. Neither the tourist board nor the Alpenverein contributed anything. Day visitors are welcome to use the facilities too, but it should not be taken for granted that they then also eat the snacks they brought along on our terrace, use the toilets as a matter of course and consume nothing at the hut, in addition, the Alpenverein invests a considerable sum every year in maintaining and building the paths and the hut (around €150,000 and more), and most of this money has to be earned by the hut itself, so the section that owns the hut depends on the overnight and lease income.

We are trying to point out these problems by way of information, so that confrontations that are unpleasant for both sides can be avoided.
