The irregularity of the snowpack (completely wind-scoured sections of terrain constantly alternate with good snow cover) reflects the stormy weather periods! Today, too, strong wind was at play above roughly 2400m, transporting huge amounts of snow! To avoid a snow deficit for the time of year, we really ought to get a significant amount of new snow soon!
