THE HUT IS OPEN; currently a fantastic display of flowers along the hut approach.

All facilities around the hut such as the Flaying Fox, the Edelweiß and Höllenrachen via ferratas and all climbing gardens have been serviced and are ready for use.

Successful renovation work at the Solsteinhaus completed!

After months of work, the renovation of the Solsteinhaus has now been completed.

Spring is making its presence felt in the high mountains too, and the snow is really taking a beating.

The road between Seduck and the Ober Iss Alm has once again been blocked by a large wet-snow avalanche and will certainly not be passable for private cars for quite some time!

Ascent to the hut

The currently best ascent to the hut: from the car park, follow the hiking trail on the RIGHT of the stream (in the direction of ascent) to the Holderlochalm.
