Östliche Seespitze hardly feasible on skis - as an alternative I chose the southern Kräulspitze!
Conditions are quite good up to just below the saddle! Watch out for bare ice, which is frequently found under the thin layer of snow. Ski crampons are an absolute must. The tour is demanding and should only be undertaken by above-average ski tourers. The summit flank of the Seespitze can hardly be climbed on skis! (bare ice). If you want to reach the summit, crampons and an ice axe are absolutely essential! A rope and ice screws should also be brought along! The southern Kräulspitze is reached from the saddle (watch out for the large cornice) via a rocky ridge which here and there reaches difficulty grade 2!
