Together with Rudi Mair and Harry Riedl, the officials of the Tyrolean provincial government responsible for the avalanche warning service and the avalanche commissions, we carried out a survey of the avalanche events after the heavy snowfall yesterday.

The findings were impressive and of great importance for how the danger situation develops with future precipitation, so that the development of the danger can subsequently be kept under control as well as possible. A big thank you to all those responsible, including those from the Austrian Armed Forces, on behalf of all ski tourers, guests, residents of endangered valleys, and from us hut keepers!
