Contrary to the weather forecasts, it rained all day yesterday, at times quite heavily!

Unfortunately, yesterday's weather forecast was pretty far off, at least for our area; at times it rained heavily – above approx. 2400m it snowed. There is currently up to a maximum of 10cm of fresh snow on the high passes of the Höhenweg. As temperatures will not rise significantly today, the snowmelt will be delayed. On the sunny side it can be expected tomorrow; on the shady side it will take a little longer. The latest weather forecasts promise good mountain weather until Thursday for now, and temperatures will also rise considerably.

SUNDAY 5 pm: the Höhenweg is already almost free of snow; very good conditions on all hiking trails and high-altitude tours in the coming days.
