The persistently spring-like weather is having a massive impact on the snowpack.

While the warm weather is taking a heavy toll on the snowpack at lower altitudes, the situation on high-altitude ski touring destinations is stabilising.

While the warm weather is taking a heavy toll on the snowpack at lower altitudes, the situation on high-altitude ski touring destinations is stabilising. In recent days almost all tours have been done, including the Seespitzen, and the Schrankogel and the Ruderhof flank have also been skied several times.
