Book: Erlebnis Franz-Senn-Hütte

The Franz-Senn-Hütte has been around since 1885. Located in the middle of the Alps, on the edge of Tyrol's Stubaital, it offers shelter and accommodation for mountaineers and hikers. Originally built for just 37 people, today, with around 170 beds, it is the largest hut of the Innsbruck section of the Austrian Alpine Club. This impressive development has been lovingly documented by Winfried Schatz, the volunteer hut warden of the Franz-Senn-Hütte. Illustrated with beautiful pictures, the book brings the history and present of the hut closer to us.
