Today we observed an exceptional amount of avalanche activity!! A few minutes ago, several powder avalanches came down in the area around the hut. This strong avalanche activity, together with the marked rise in temperature, gives us hope that once the temperature peak has passed (expected on Wednesday), the worst will be over for the time being.
It was absolutely the right decision on our part to cancel all bookings for the past few days.
